Feeling Anxious?

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7cast-all-your-anxiety

Have you ever held a baby chick in your hands? They are so small and helpless. At first they cheep and chirp anxiously waiting to be free from your grasp. The little chick may even squirm to be free, but it has no chance of escape.

Then it happens, the cheeps stop and the chick’s struggling ceases. Soon it feels safe, trusting and eventually they can fall asleep in your hands.

Has your cheeping and squirming been on the rise the last few weeks? Many hands hold us down especially during the election and holiday season.

Then it happens, you hear God’s word like the verse above and he reminds you to remember his hands have you. Take all of your worries and stress to God in prayer.

He already holds you in his hand, stop struggling. God cares for you. He saved you, watches over you. He loves you.
