“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Is this the kind of passage you like to see on a Monday morning?
Rejoicing and giving thanks…not usually.
What makes it possible? That final phrase makes this possible: in Christ Jesus.
Jesus gives you the reason to give thanks and rejoice. His love for you never changes, never runs out. His love always forgives and heaven will always be yours.
